Flag Football – AOWL Flag Football is the perfect program for your young athletes who want a complete introduction to football or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for team play during the school year. Through our ‘skill of the day’ campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning – all presented in a fun & positive environment. Students will also work on developing teamwork and sportsmanship.
Basketball – Your young athlete will grow and learn about more than basketball through AOWL Basketball week. While they practice ball-handling, dribbling, and shooting, they will also learn about self-esteem, teamwork, and the value of hard work. Our nurturing environment provides an avenue for kids to really feel eager to learn and focus on the instruction. Which in turn helps them excel and be successful both on and off the court.
Track and Field – AOWL Track & Field combines technical development and fundamental techniques with safety and a major focus on fun! Our exercises and drills will expose athletes to the fun events of cross-country, track and field, distance running, while inspiring a love for running and being active. The fundamentals of body positioning, stride, proper stretching, and cool-down techniques are all covered in this exciting new program.
