Therapeutic Groups and Social Skills

What is Group Therapy?

AOWL Therapy Services offers individual and group services for individuals. Our focus is to provide each individual an opportunity to participate in unique experiences for personal growth and wellness. Our dedicated team has developed therapeutic groups to address the needs of our community. Groups will rotate on an 8-10-week offering and will target areas to increase the skill development of each individual, while offering connection and support.

Groups are led by Sunni Myers, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 4 years of clinic experience and expertise in mental health counseling adults and children, depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related diagnoses.

**We are pleased to announce that our Therapeutic Groups are now covered by most major insurance providers. If using private pay, the cost is $800.

    Beyond the Spectrum Group

What is it like to live with Autism Spectrum Disorder? Although you live it every day, it can be difficult to understand and even harder to put into words. This 10-week group will help you identify your individual strengths as you work toward achieving your own personal development goals. You will develop a variety of life skills including self-advocacy, self-management, developing community, dating, and personal wellness. At the end of this group, you will better understand your experience living with ASD and be better equipped to meet life’s challenges. This group meets in person, following AOWL’s COVID-19 safety procedures. Participants have the option of joining virtually with prior approval.
