What is Intensive Behavior Intervention?

Intensive Behavior Intervention provides medically necessary intensive training that targets functional skills and core deficits of people with ASD and related conditions.

How does Intensive Behavior Intervention work?

Treatment objectives are individualized to help increase positive behaviors and skills, maintain and generalize behaviors, and decrease difficult or disruptive behaviors. In order to establish a consistent therapeutic environment for your child, we require ongoing parent involvement. Parents will first learn to generalize skills learned in sessions with the therapist, and then learn to use specific strategies to obtain and maintain low rates of disruptive behavior and high rates of compliance.
